I live in East Looe with my husband Kevan and our lovely Greek rescue dog (plus a range of family members who come and go…).
My working background is in art/interior design/library/primary education.
I love meeting new people, coastal walks, friendly dogs, discovering interesting places, visiting local pubs and restaurants, reading (of course!), creating art, beautiful sea views and everything to do with Looe!

I grew up in Looe before moving away for work in Manchester. I returned to Looe in 2019 with my husband Graham.
I spend my spare time at my allotment, making silver jewellery, attending craft fairs with my jewellery, reading, walking our dog and going out to visit places of interest.
When living in Manchester I had a variety of jobs including care assistant work and then managing a care home for adults with learning disabilities before moving into education in 1999 where I supported learners with their Health and Social Care Awards and managed the apprenticeship delivery of all apprenticeship delivered by my college. I left there in 2015 to return to teaching adults undertaking their Level 5 Care Management Awards.

I recently moved to Liskeard with my husband after living in the East Midlands for many years.
Having been a bookseller for over forty years, and setting up a community library in Leicestershire, I absolutely love being at Looe Library and Community Hub!
Meeting lots of new people, whether they are tourists or live locally, means I am getting to learn a lot about the area.
Any spare time is spent reading, walking our dog, and visiting National Trust properties.
