I have worked as part of the library team at Looe Town Council for almost four years. I was a bookseller for over 40 years and helped set up a community library in Leicestershire. I have also been a judge for the BBC’s ‘500 Words Competition’ for the past three years and am also on the steering group of Looe Festival of Words. Meeting lots of new people, whether they are tourists or live locally, means I am getting to learn a lot about the area. I really enjoy the variety of my job!
