Our Mayor & Councillors attend National Fisheries Memorial Day.

Today we’re celebrating Looe Shedders who, are hosting The Repair Cafe this Saturday at 10am-1pm St Martins Hall! The repair cafe is an endeavor to repair things that may otherwise be dumped from toys to small appliances and more!
The Repair Cafe is a part of Looe Shedders but they do a lot more than giving broken things a new lease of life. Their mission is to provide a community space, where people can “connect, converse and create”! Looe Shedders also aim to help people find new friends and a new purpose in life, often by working together on community projects.
They have some amazing projects upcoming so keep your eyes peeled for an update!
Please view the Looe Shedders website for further information http://www.looeshedders.co.uk
Our wonderful library staff have organised a tea party for Dementia UK & we would love to see you there on Monday 13th May 1-4pm at our Millpool Library, West Looe!
We have an abundance of cakes on offer baked by our Looe Council team, in addition to, jewellery making and crafts.

There has been huge progress on our Mariner’s Garden, with thanks to Andy our maintenance supervisor and his team. Andy has spent time, weeding, cleaning up debris & adding a fresh feel to the space, with more to come! The space is already receiving great compliments from our locals.
