/in News /by TeganThere will be an overnight closure on Polperro Road, West Looe from 7pm – 7am Monday 29 April, to Thursday 2 May.
Cormac will be removing loose material from the land slip and reducing the load on the remaining wall. The aim is to reduce the current traffic management arrangements and enable two-way traffic flow for light vehicles.
Further information from Cornwall can viewed on the attachment.
Update on the land slip on Polperro Road, West Looe
/in News /by TeganLooe Town Council and Cornwall Councillors Armand Toms and Jim Candy would like to update residents that Cormac will begin work on Monday 29th April. Cormac will be implementing a temporary solution which will allow traffic to flow in both directions. The road will be narrow so there will be some signing and management of larger vehicles, but traffic should be flow.
This is a temporary measure and a longer-term solution will need to be implemented in the autumn but this is good news for the summer.
Cornwall Highways have worked with the landowners of Little Westward to agree this temporary solution and we are grateful to all parties for working really hard to deliver this solution.

Looe is the stunningly beautiful fishing port on the south coast of Cornwall.
