Looe Raft Race 2025: The Results are in!

Sun, sea, and spirited competition defined this year’s Raft Race, and what a day it was! With a total of 20 rafts and over 100 enthusiastic paddlers taking to the water, the event was a brilliant celebration of both community and creativity.Spectators were treated to a lively mix of impressive performances and hilarious wipeouts as teams battled for glory across the Adult Elite, Adult Fun, and Junior categories.

The Race Results are in!

Adult Elite

  • 1st Place: All the way from Calais

  • 2nd Place: Trelawne Manor – Minions

  • 3rd Place: Fishy Smell – Fishermans Arms

Adult Fun

  • 1st Place: Groggy Head – Grog and Ale House

  • 2nd Place: Forlorne Hope 4 – Ex Paras

  • 3rd Place: Team Dottys

Junior

  • 1st Place: No Clooe

  • 2nd Place: 4 Musketeers

  • 3rd Place: 1st Liskeard Scouts

Some teams stood out for other reasons…

  • LBOA Special Award went to 1st Liskeard Scouts for an epic effort during “the long swim.”

  • Best Fancy Dress was awarded to Killigarth Manor for their festive “Santa and his elves” theme.

  • Sponsorship Shield also went to Killigarth Manor in recognition of their outstanding fundraising support.

Thanks to the generosity of participants and supporters, this year’s event raised an incredible: $2,378.21 for RNLI(so far). A HUGE well done to everyone involved, and thankyou for making this years event such a success.
