Work in the Health & Care Sector
The Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is currently working with Cornwall Development Company and other partners who are involved in the Health Works programme.
The programme aims to support those who are unemployed, with a health related barrier, into employment or training within the health and care sector, and to raise awareness of the different job opportunities in the NHS.
A health related barrier could be anything from anxiety, to a learning disability, to a specific health condition; the programme will offer support with any barrier to employment. Delivered virtually, the ‘Introduction to Working in Health and Care’ gives participants the opportunity to:
- learn about different job roles within the NHS and job opportunities in the care sector;
- take part in workshops covering different skills; and
- find out how to apply for vacancies on nhs.jobs.
