Upcoming Network Rail Improvement Works

There are Network Rail improvement works taking place from Sunday 30 April to Wednesday 3 May on the line between Frome, Westbury and Taunton.

There will be no trains between Westbury and Taunton on Sunday 30 April and Monday 1 May, and then between Frome and Taunton on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 May. Buses will replace trains between these stations.

During this time, the long distance services between Devon/Cornwall and London Paddington will use a diversionary route, adding time to journeys. Services will run between Westbury and London Paddington on Sunday 30 and Monday 1 May, with some extending to Frome on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 May.

There will also be services running between Castle Cary and Weymouth, and between Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury (extending to Frome on the Tuesday and Wednesday).
