Thank you from Ukraine

Thank you to everyone who donated supplies for the The Lions Club of Looe’s recent aid trip to Poland for those affected by war in Ukraine.  The Lions have reported that:

“All went well and 11 vans/minibuses made the journey and dropped a few tons of medical supplies, food, sleeping bags, clothes, etc at the Warsaw staging post for onward transport into Ukraine. One of the vans carried on to Kyiv.

We brought back 4 refugees with their assorted pets.”

Pictured is Vasiliy whose family left Odessa on the second day of the war and live in the UK. Not able to join the army he has now been given permission to rejoin his family who he has not seen in over 12 months.
