Sending Love to Ukraine
The wonderful Lions Club of Looe will be taking their minibus to Poland on 7th March with aid for Ukrainians affected by the war in their country. They’ll be joining a convoy organised by ‘Cornwall & Devon Sending Love to Ukraine’ who have successfully completed multiple aid trips to Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict there. The situation in parts of Ukraine is desperate and we’d like to help them fill the minibus with much-needed goods to maximise the benefit of their trip. If you can help by contributing an item for their cargo, whether big or small, please drop your donations at Looe Library (during opening hours please) up to and including Saturday 4th March.
There are particular items that are in shortage in Ukraine, so please check that anything you would like to donate is on the attached list before dropping off as we’re not able to store things for future aid trips.
