Looe Business and Learning Initiative – Community Engagement Session
The Looe Business and Learning Initiative Community Engagement Session is a conversation and we invite everyone in Looe to come along and get involved. The events will be an opportunity to meet the LTC team and partners, to share your thoughts on the challenges, and ideas for possible solutions, to help improve the town’s economy.
The event is an informal drop-in workshop, where you can come for the whole session or just pop-in for 10 mins. You don’t have to book and refreshments will be provided – we’d love to see you there!
What is it about?
We all know that Looe is a special and unique place. At the same time, it shares many of the same challenges and opportunities as other towns. How do we support our established businesses to grow, adapt and sustain, how can we build and retain our skills base, nurture new start-ups and embrace new and emerging economic sectors? How can we help build a local economy that works for the long term and for everyone?
The Looe Business and Learning Initiative is supported by Looe Town Council and aims to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth, by working with our business and learning communities to understand their challenges, opportunities and aspirations; by exploring and building new partnerships for investment; and by understanding the right infrastructure we need to put in place now, to be fit for the future.
