Keltique welcomes French Choir Entre Terre et Mer to Looe
Last weekend Keltique, a ladies choir based in Looe, welcomed Plouguerneau based Breton choir Entre Terre et Mer to Looe. The visit followed a trip Keltique made to Plouguerneau in 2019 at the invitation of Entre Terre et Mer.
Following a reception at the Millpool centre at which the choir was welcomed in French by Mayor Tony Smith, the two groups enjoyed a hog roast at Dobwalls with some ad hoc singing! On Saturday night there was a concert by both choirs at Liskeard Church. Sunday was a day of sightseeing around the Looe area and the visit concluded with a late lunch at St Germans, Plouguerneau’s twinning partner. The two choirs hope to meet again in Brittany next year.
