GWR Train Drivers Strike

Tomorrow (Sat 30th Sept) and  Wednesday 4th Oct, the ASLEF (train drivers) union will be on strike at GWR, as well as other train operators. This means that they will only have a very limited service on place, and most of their network will have no service whatsoever. Disruption is also likely on the days following strikes.

Where they are able to operate, services will start later and finish much earlier than usual. They may also be subject to short-notice alterations or cancellations. Journey planners have now been updated and for more information please visit their dedicated webpage www.gwr.com/strike.

ASLEF are also taking action short of strike today (Fri 29 Sept) and from Mon 2 Oct to Fri 6 Oct inclusive. They are planning on running our full timetable but again some services may be disrupted as they do not have their full complement of spare drivers.
