Further Update on Train Service Disruption Following Storm Henk.
GWR have provided a further update on disruption to passenger services following Storm Henk.
GWR are advising all passengers to travel early today (4 January) and to consider making their return journeys as soon as possible due to further flood warnings in place. Customers with tickets for trains later today will be able to use their ticket on earlier services.
The Looe Branch Line has been shut with all train services cancelled until further notice following flooding of the line.
Network Rail teams are continuing to monitor potential flooding sites and have identified key sites in Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. As a result, trains may not be able to operate through these areas. Customers can check the latest with their journey at www.gwr.com/check.
GWR apologizes for the continued disruption.
