Devon and Cornwall Police are planning on re-opening 6 Police Enquiry Offices in the near future, allowing members of the public to attend, report incidents and obtain face-to-face police assistance.
They are hiring staff for stations re-opening in Okehampton, Ilfracombe, Kingsbridge, Devonport, Honiton and Looe and for stations already open and established in Bodmin, Plymouth, Tiverton and Truro.
To progress this matter Devon and Cornwall Police are keen to recruit new members of staff to take on the Police Enquiry Officer role in the above locations.
Without the staff to take on these public facing roles, they will be unable to offer this highly requested public service.
