Cornwall Community Flood Forum Conference Invite

Cornwall Community Flood Forum CCFF) are a charity that aims to support communities to become more resilient to the impacts of flooding by raising awareness of climate change and flood risk, assisting communities in preparing for flooding, leading flood warden training, and collaborating with others to form partnerships.

On Friday 3rd November 2023, CCFF is hosting their Annual Conference at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge.

The theme of this year’s conference is Natural Flood Management and Working with Natural Processes (Nature Based Solutions) and the conference is also shared with the Making Space for Sand project, which CCFF is a partner in. There will be speakers presenting in the morning on the impacts of land management on flooding in the first session and communities impacted by coastal flooding in the second session. There will be afternoon workshops to participate in, a number of stands, and many networking opportunities.

Cornwall Community Flood Forum have said that it would be brilliant if people from Looe came to the conference, as the conference is aimed at communities.
