DESCRIPTION:October marks a very special milestone for Looe as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our town twinning with Quiberon. \n\nThe anniversary celebrations will begin on Saturday 3 October with a French Fun Palace at Looe Library & Community Hub\, taking place from 10am to 2pm. \nThis free community event will offer a taste of Breton and French culture\, with a varied programme including live music from Ilow Splann\, Cornish bagpipes\, a welcome from the Mayor of Looe\, a special performance by the Bards of the Cornish Gorsedh\, French-themed activities\, language fun and opportunities to learn more about the twinning relationship between Looe and Quiberon.
